A native Calgarian, Eryn has a longstanding love of animals and travel. Amidst her travels, she did fieldwork on howler monkeys in Belize and wildlife conservation in South Africa. She has a Bachelor of Science in Primatology from the University of Calgary and an MD from Queens University. After years in human healthcare, she chose to step away and redirect her career back toward animals. She joined Cornerstone Square in 2020 and has a special place in her heart for the cats and kittens who come to visit.
She has been accompanied throughout her journeys by her cat Mia and, more recently, her 9-year-old Mexican rescue dog, Lola. In her spare time, she enjoys walks with Lola and drawing.
