Becca
Veterinary Receptionist
Assistant
Becca was born in Terrace but raised in Prince George, B.C. She originally went to UNBC and CNC for her diploma in Human Kinetics and to play university soccer. Becca got married in 2013 and had two beautiful children shortly after. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom for 7 years, but now that her children are in school full time, she needed to “find her identity” again. Becca knew her true passion was with animals, so she decided to go into the grooming business for a few years.
During the covid pandemic, Becca took an online Veterinary Assistant program through ABC Animal Behaviour College. Cornerstone Square Veterinary Hospital gratefully took her on for her externship in May 2022, and after completing her 100 practicum hours Cornerstone hired her on as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist.
Becca adores animals and has a special place in her heart for her 12-year-old golden retriever, Sadie and her 4-year-old great dane, Tessa. She really enjoys working for Cornerstone Square as all the staff and doctors are very kind, knowledgeable, and eager to teach. Becca takes interest in learning all the areas of the clinic so that she is versatile wherever she is needed. In her spare time, Becca enjoys hiking, attending live sporting events, and spending time with her family.
